Comments	"He was about to play Johan Sebastian Bach's unaccompanied Chaccone in D Minor. Someone off camera softly mumbled something about sounding a tuning A 440. I remember that Heifetz merely smiled, shook his head slowly as in "No, thanks," and said quietly, "I remember." To me, the reasonable inference is that Heifetz's pitch memory and recognition were still intact at about age 70." [1]
